We at Restore Me Retreats think that your privacy is very important. This privacy policy explains how we apply data protection principles to the processing of your personal data. Please read the policy thoroughly and note that we may change this policy when necessary by updating this page. Please check this page periodically to ensure that you are aware of and happy with any changes.

Screening forms

When you register and purchase one of our retreats or workshops that contain physical classes you will be asked to complete a screening form. This form will ask about your health, medical history, levels of fitness etc. and its completion is necessary for us to provide you with a comprehensive screening procedure to ensure that we can safely cater to your needs and offer duty of care. Hence it is extremely important that you complete these forms as fully as possible. The information that you provide will allow us to identify any contraindications to your participation of exercise with us and indicate any circumstance wherein medical approval or referral to a specialist practitioner is required or advised. Any personal information that you divulge will be securely stored and not shared with any third party unless you grant permission for it to be passed on for the purpose of referral to a specialist practitioner e.g. soft tissue therapist, womens health physiotherapist etc.  

 

Registration for newsletter

We have an electronic newsletter that you can opt in and subscribe to. During subscription you may be asked for your name, email address, postcode etc. as part of the enrollment process. You may also be asked to tell us about your interests e.g. topics you are interested in, current wellness habits, wellness goals etc.

The type of data collected

We may gather the following types of information:

  • Personal information given voluntarily during registration or when purchasing a service/product e.g. name, address, phone number, e-mail address, birth date, financial billing information, demographic information, preferences and interests, information related to customer surveys and/or offers

  • Information gathered automatically when you visit our website

We may send you promotional information about relevant third parties/services but only if you provide permission to do so. If you wish to limit the contact you receive then when registering via form-filling, tick/click the box that indicates that you do not want your information to be used for direct marketing purposes.

Contacting us via social media

We use Instagram to manage our social media interactions and group notifications/discussions. If you send us a private message via social media, the message will be managed with absolute privacy and not shared with any other members of the public or external organisations.

We have applied suitable physical and electronic safeguarding procedures to protect the personal information that we gather online and prevent unauthorised access. However, data transmitted over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Hence we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you choose to transmit to or from our website, and you do so at your own risk.

Parents should always supervise their children while online. Our website is not designed nor intended to collect personal information from children under the age of 18.
